How to Make Double Interface UE Offloading from LTE to Wifi ?

Hello all, my name is Made Adi from Telkom University, Indonesia. Now im doing a final task using NS3 with offloading from lte to wifi, but now im stucking. 

How to create the user equipment can compare the signal from both ? LTE eNB and Wifi AP ? How to create it ? im so confused, 

Please Help me if you know how to clear it, thanks so much :D

Hi,

the answer to "How to create it" is in the tutorial. You "just" create two NetDevices and you install them in the same node.

The harder question is "compare the signal from both". You have to define a way to compare the two systems, as the "signal" is a poor definition. LTE and Wi-Fi are very different and you can't just compare the respective SNR.
As a side note, we can't tell how to compare them, because it's your research and there's no definitive answer.

yep, i got it, hmmm , did you know how to create it ?
what do you think , if we just compare the throughput is enough?
so if there was higher one the user will automatically offloaded.

yes, I know how to build such a node, but see below.
Yes, the throughput could be a valid measurement unit, but it could not be enough. It depends on your scenario and your goal.
Overall: no, we can't write the code for you, it's your assignment.
