WIMAX Mesh Interface for L2 Routing Protocol

Hi everyone!
I need to know if someone here had work with or did a plugin for L2
routing in WIMAX in order to achieve mesh support on IEEE 802.16*
specification.
The last version of ns3 doesn't offer support to mesh topology in
WIMAX, and I'm thinking about write my own plugin to do my simulations
but, firstly, I'm trying to find and know if someone have started this
task before... I've searched about FLAME protocol and its
compatibility but I didn't try it yet. Anyone?
