Hi guys,

I would like to ask about the support for Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) in NS-3?

I found the code from Network Simulation Cradle (NSC) on https://github.com/dgomezunican/multipath-ns3.13/blob/master/nsc-0.5.2/linux-2.6.26/include/net/snmp.h so just to ask whether SNMP is supported and operable with ns-3.26.

Thank you,
Miralem

Hi Miralem,

As far as I know, NSC is not being developed at this stage, and it has been superseded by DCE (https://www.nsnam.org/overview/projects/direct-code-execution/).
With DCE you still have access to linux kernel and potentially it would be easier to run SNMP.

Regards,
K
