In downlink, the txMode of both are MIMO. Since ues and stas both have 1 transmission antenna, but aps and enbs both have 2 reception antennas. So do they have reception diversity gain or something like that? Or in uplink, it is SISO?

For Wi-Fi, a 1x2 diversity gain (3 dB) is used. For LAA, I believe it
is just the default uplink configuration for LTE.
