use gt itm to generate topology in ns-3

Does anyone know how to use gt-itm in NS3? gt-itm outputs network
topology in a sgb(Stanford graph base) format which can also be
converted to an alternative format (via sgb2alt).
How can I make use of topology presented in these two formats in ns3?

I don't believe we have attempted this. It would be nice if you would contribute code for review.
