Dear colleagues,
*************Apologies if you receive multiple copies of this email.*************
We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the Selected Areas of Wireless Communications and Networking (WCN) track at The 41st ACM Symposium on Applied Computing (SAC 2026), to be held in Thessaloniki, Greece, from March 23 to March 27, 2026.

The WCN track aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to present and discuss the latest advancements in wireless systems — from traditional wireless sensor deployments to 5G and emerging 6G architectures. As the field continues to evolve, new paradigms such as cell-free massive MIMO, metaverse networking, V2X communications, and the integration of AI/ML are reshaping network intelligence, adaptability, and scalability.
A special focus this year is the rise of Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTNs) including LEO satellites, HAPs, and UAV-based relays as key enablers of global connectivity. The track welcomes contributions that explore novel architectures, protocols, algorithms, performance optimizations, and real-world implementations across the wireless networking landscape.
