Hi,

I've just installed and built NS-3, but when I try to move a simulation to scratch then run it I get the message that there is no such file or directory "tutorial-app.h".
The file "tutorial-app.h" is in the examples/tutorial directory so I don't know why I am getting this issue.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks,
Tess

Hi,
I hope these two points will fix the issue.
First, You need to run the .cc file not .h file.
Second, you need to give the path after "run" command
e.g. (--run (enter_path_address)/enter_filename(without .cc)
Regards
Zia

Hi,

Thanks for your message.
I'm running the sixth.cc file, I've moved it to the scratch directory so: ./ns3 run scratch/sixth
The code has the line "#include "tutorial-app.h" and that is where the issue is.

You also need to move the tutorial-app.h to the scratch directory then.
Think of it as your looking for your keys, which are always with your wallet,
but then something unexpected happens and you leave the key somewhere else.
The next day, you get your wallet and can't find the keys,
which are not where they were supposed to be.
