Experimenting with File Transfer using TCP and SCTP in ns-3

I am planning to conduct an experiment on file transfer using both SCTP and TCP.

Is it possible to perform actual file transfer in this experiment, or is it more appropriate to simulate file transfer by sending large amounts of data that represent a file?

If real file transfer is possible, could you please recommend any websites, resources, or documentation that would help me learn the necessary knowledge and implementation methods?

I don't know DCE enough to guide you, sorry. The main question is about the SCTP suport, and if it hooks to ns-3, but I guess you already know that.

About the specific question (if it's better to use a large data transfer or a real file), the two methods should be fairly equivalent under DCE.
