Experimenting with File Transfer using TCP and SCTP in ns-3

I am planning to conduct an experiment on file transfer using both SCTP and TCP.

Is it possible to perform actual file transfer in this experiment, or is it more appropriate to simulate file transfer by sending large amounts of data that represent a file?

If real file transfer is possible, could you please recommend any websites, resources, or documentation that would help me learn the necessary knowledge and implementation methods?
