Dear Friend,

I am using iTETRIS patch version.

my scenario that i want to implement is transmitting

DENM message (one roadwork event) from TrafficControlCenter (IPv6 packet) to two Trailers (equipped with 802.11p and cellular access technology). when the message is generated at the

TrafficControlCenter, ActionID is assigned which used for referencing together with refernceDenm (referncing means that each trailer knows that the other trailer received the same Denm message).

Denm message will be transmitted (point-to-point) to Trailer1 and Trailer 2. In order to ensure to refernceDenm.

how to be sure that protocol parameter of the geo-networking header can reference the DENM of trailer 1 with trailer 2? (ActionID is generated from Facility layer and referenceDenm is located in the payload of Denm)

Any suggestions or advice would be highly appreciated.

Best regards.

Dear Osama,

We have mentioned before that we can not provide support for iTETRIS.
I can not fully understand what is the problem, since you confused me with all the 'reference'
You ask how a protocol parameter in GN header can reference the DENM?  What do you mean with that? GN should have access to the referenceDenm information, since as you say it is payload in the Denm. For the ActionID, again GN has interfaces/SAP to DENM-facility, so it can request it. At least that's the principle. But we do not know the actual implementation.

it is getting clear Dear Konstantinos,

last question. Can TrafficControlCenter send Denm exactly as any ITS-STATION?
The idea is to send DENM of type roadWork to 2 Warning Trailers and then they boradcast it.

THANKS A LOT

I would say yes, as the TCC is just another node. But you have to think a little about it first, for example the TCC is located in a building somewhere in the town and the connections it has is usually P2P with some RSU or the EPC. So the format and method of sending should be different, i.e. the networking protocol should be able to identify and properly distribute the packets accordingly.

Hello everybody,

I'm doing a master thesis and I would like to get information about this issue in the roadworks warning and the actionID, but I didn't find anything. Could someone of you indicate me where I can find sources and documentation related with this issue?

Thanks a lot!!!
