when you run ./waf configure do you get this line:
Checking for regression reference traces : ok ../ns-3-dev-ref-traces
(guessed) ??
Once the compilation succeeded, you can execute the files in
workingDirectory/build/debug/examples
More output errors will enable us to help you more easily.
