Asking about IPv6 extension header in NS3

Hi.
I am very new in using ns-3 (and also ns-2) and like to do any experiments using ns-3, as it will fully support ipv6.

I am going to introduce IPv6 extension header.
Is /src/node/ipv6-header.cc apropriately to be extended to have IPv6 extension header?
