I enabled verbose in V4Ping. And what astonishes me is that  pings from remote to UEs were not replied while wifi stas replied correctly. Why is that?

Hi John,

Is it only with the reply in Ping? Can you test that your network is properly connected?
i.e. if you reverse the Ping, do you still face the same problem; that the reply is not received?

Without more information about the scenario/code we can't help.

Regards
K.

Thanks for your reply. I should have provided more information. I ran the example laa-wifi-indoor in ns3-lbt.  And ftp packets were generated and correctly transmitted. However, I found pings of lte network not replied. I asked this question because I found flow with zero packets received in my modified scenario. And I was encountered with the same problem on wifi nodes before, which was finally solved by ping settings. However, it seems in the normal case pings to lte nodes  are not replied. And I want to know why.

Hi,

I suspect that the problem is in how the packets are classified by LTE [to associate each of them with the proper bearer]. I could be wrong, but I'd check that.

Cheers,

T.
