Hi,
I'm following the instructions in the ns3 wiki about the configuration with eclipse http://www.nsnam.org/wiki/index.php/HOWTO_configure_eclipse_with_ns-3
but in the debugger configuration part I got an error when trying to debug, I also have included the path ${workspace_loc:ns-3.13}/build because in ns-3.13 i didn't find the debug directory (original wiki article said ${workspace_loc:ns-3.13}/build/debug).
The error is: error while loading shared libraries: libns3-aodv.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Dear Yeison,

Have a look at this post https://groups.google.com/d/msg/ns-3-users/1tElYoFsKa0/2Iu1iyW0yfYJ
It might be the new version of waf that causes this errors.

Regards,
Konstantinos

Hi Konstantinos, thanks for your answer. I have changed the directory as the update suggest (what seems rare to me because i had the directory as the wiki originally suggest and everything about compiling and running programs works perfect, the one thing doesn't work is debugging, but i have changed cause it still works)  but unfortunately the error continues (I think because the debugging configuration still remains equal, due to the change of directory was concern to the builder not the debugger).

I have a question about debugging in eclipse with ns3: because i imagine that it works with the eclipse button as normal debugging but i'm not sure because maybe it could be that in the console window appears the gdb commands?? (because of i have never seen the debugging working in eclipse with ns3 i don't know how it works) Do you know how does it work?

the error still is : error while loading shared libraries: libns3-aodv.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Note: The most rare thing is that if i look in the directory the library does exits!!!!!

Hi,

Try this command:

sudo ln -s /home/larissa/workspace/ns-3-allinone/ns-3.13/build/libns3-aodv.so.3 /usr/lib.

Do it for every library eclipse complains of.

Best regards,
Larissa.

Dear Yeison,

I think that you have to change the variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH .

Att, Lucas.
