Hi,

Recently I have been studying Wimax module in ns3. I am quite new to wimax actually.
I have got a problem when I study the example /src/wimax/example/wimax-simple.cc. I made some modification in the example. i.e, increasing the number of base stations to be 3 and installing mobility model on bs and ss.
However something wrong comes up occationally when I run the code.

Here is my script in the attachment. In fact, I have searched online if I have done something wrong. But what I found is bug 1436 in wimax that there can't be more than 2 base stations in the scenario.

has this bug been fixed yet? Is there anything wrong in my script? My appreciation for your reply !!

Hi,

nope, bug 1436 was a false alarm.

Cheers,

Hi Mr Tommaso Pecorella,

Sorry to bother you again, sir. But THANK YOU very much for your reply !

I would like to share more information about this, since I have no idea how to debug at all. There is little log created by wimax module.
Here is a new script in attachment. I try to create 2 base stations  and create a udp echo application between the 2 subscriber stations.

If I run the script in gdb I will definitely get error. The backtrace information is contained in the attachment.
And if I run it with visualizer module, I will get different results each time. Like the image shows below:

Bests,
