ns-3 currently implements in-channel (WifiPhy) and co-channel interference (SpectrumWifiPhy) as noise by calculating the snir by simply taking the ratio of the signal power to the sum of the noise power and interference power. Is this implementation correct? In high interference scenarios, is it correct to calculate the snir in this manner? Please do correct me if my understanding is wrong.
