Hi
I could not configure eclipse with ns3.
I installed C/C++ eclipse Luna for ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64 bit. but when I add the site of update  http://cbes.javaforge.com/update, mercurial eclips does not appear in the list in order to be ticked (see the attachment) Note the the mercurial is already installed on ubuntu (I use the following command in installation  apt-get install mercurial

I do not know where is the problem? anyone can help me please

Hi Ahmed,

Please try a different update site as specified in this link
(the wiki page needs a refresh for the latest Eclipse release)

Hi,

in Eclipse Luna the easiest way is to open Eclipse Marketplace and search for "Mercurial". Just install the latest plugin version, that's all.

Cheers,

Thanks for your reply Konstantinos and Tommaso
The Eclipse is configured correctly, it is better to edit or build the source code by using Eclipse. Do you advice me to use eclipse in running the source code or use the waf command?

Hi,

up to you. I use Eclipse for debugging (I like more the GUI than the gdb command line) but the terminal to run scripts (easier to copy.paste the output).
Your choice, really.

Have fun,

T.
