Hello.
When run the script "vanet-routing-compare.cc", it does not work.
./waf --run "vanet-routing-compare --traceMobility=1 --80211Mode=3 --pcap=1 --scenario=1"
The pcap file is empty.

But "--80211Mode=1" or "--80211Mode=2", it can work.
Why?
Thanks.

Maybe the WaveNetDevice can't send IP packet in this script.

In order to send IP packets with WAVE you need to configure the Service Channel with a valid TX profile.
See the example in /wave/examples/wave-simple-example.cc and particularly the SendIpExample() method

Thank you very much.
But this script is an example of ns3 in "src/wave/example/". Is this a bug?

Hi,

if it's a bug, it's not in ns-3-dev.
Please upgrade ns-3 and check if the error is still there.

Hi VehiNs,

I'm a noob in ns3. I'm facing the same as you do. I understood what Konstantinos said, but unable implement it. Please let me know how you resolved the issue.
