Hi Ved,

Please do not send the code in the message, use attachments.
To answer your question, FlowMonitor works only with IP traffic over TCP/UDP protocols. That's the type of traffic it can 'classify' and provide statistics.
Your scenario does not use IP traffic and for what it concerns you do not have ANY traffic in this particular scenario.

If you create a scenario with 6LowPAN and Lr-wpan modules, that would send IPv6 traffic over a lr-wpan network, then you could track it with FlowMonitor.
e.g. http://www.nsnam.org/doxygen/example-ping-lr-wpan_8cc.html but note that ping traffic is not TCP/UDP but ICMP hence in this particular scenario it FlowMonitor will not work. You need to change the application to e.g. OnOffApplication or UdpClient/Server.

Regards,
K.

Hi Konstantinos,

Indeed i have used an application, infact overall idea is to use different applications like udp, onoff, voip, videotrace with 802.15.4 and observe the flowmonitor output. since file was to long with many unwanted information i pasted the code in message instead of attaching. In the attached file i have just used udp app between node 0 to node 9 but i am not getting any flowmonitor output....pls canyou check and tell me the problem.

Thanks in advance
ved

Hi Ved,

I have already told told you that Lr-wpan module can work with IP traffic only with 6lowpan module as in the example.
Please refer to that example so that you can see the problem yourself.

Hi Konstantinos ,
Thanks for the suggestion, but  i need to use olsr or aodv above 6lowpan is it possible ??because 6lowpan handles only ipv6 and neither of the routing protocol supports ipv6. Is there a way to achieve this ?

Thanks
ved

Sure, it is possible. Simply modify olsr or aodv (your choice) and make them compatible with IPv6.
The easiest solutions are always the neglected ones.

Cheers,

T.
