In the document, I see that wifi uses Preamble detection (PD)-based CCA for Wi-Fi frame detection, at the threshold of around -88 dBm. Could anyone tell me how that is implemented? In the spectrumPhy, it seems that any wifi signal would be received and passed to higher layers. How does this threshold work?
