Technical of relay nodes or relaying in LTE networks (Focus on energy)

I like to know if is possible simulate in ns-3 or on the project Lena a technical of relay nodes or relaying on LTE networks with focus on energy efficient.

The type of relay that i like to do is the type 2 (codification-Transmission).  thanks.

Hi Ricardo,

LENA does not include any relay functionality in the current implementation.

HI Ricardo,

LENA is the standard LTE module in ns3 starting from version 3.14; therefore natively ns3 does not provide this functionality (neither the previous version, the one based on GSoC 2010 Piro's code). Of course, LENA can be extended for including relay, but this implies some effort.

But LTE-Sim does not support ralay-nodes right? Or am I missing something?
Basically, I have to to simulate handovers in LTE networks with relays. Does LTE-Sim provide
required functionality?
