UMTS/HSDPA in NS-3

Dear All,

I'm a newbie in NS-3 and would like to simulate UMTS/HSDPA. Long time
ago, I was deploying UMTS simulation by using NS-2 with EURANE. It was
running smoothly, but found difficulty in creating many BTS Node. Can
we do it in NS-3? Is there any UMTS/HSDPA module prepared to use?

At the moment there aren't official modules you want.

Moreover, the LTE module has been developed for ns-3

Hi,

I was one of the authors of EURANE (for my sins ;), and we had a
multiple BTS version but it was not for public release.

I had planned to port the public version to ns-3 but other projects
had sidetracked me. I am back working with ns-3 at the moment,
so I may try to work it into this project but I can not guarantee
anything. The code probably needs a good refactoring anyway.

Great Neill! LTE is good, but takes time to be implemented here - thus I'd like to simulate HSDPA/HSUPA.

With the LTE module you have a model for 3.5 G , 4 G  standards.
 

I want to measure the performance of the radio access network and

You can start studying lte examples and then creating a more complete simulation scenario.
