This is to announce the release of ns-3.49, thanks to the efforts of twenty-three authors, including several new contributors.  The release is available at https://www.nsnam.org/releases/ns-3-49/ and adds inter-UE spatial consistency and large-bandwidth/large-antenna-array modeling (3GPP TR 38.901 Sec. 7.6) to the 3GPP channel and propagation models. The 3GPP channel model is also 8-11x faster per link and has many correctness fixes. A new Flent application models the Flent network benchmarking tool and writes .flent output. Wi-Fi models now support beaconing in IBSS (ad hoc) mode and provide the building blocks for layer-2 roaming. 6LoWPAN adds RFC 7400 Generic Header Compression, and Zigbee adds basic Zigbee Device Object (ZDO) support.

I will be working this month on preparing the ns-allinone-3.49 release, which will include contributed modules from the ns-3 App Store that are compatible with ns-3.49.

I read multiple post and consulted multiple resources but the only way i could find to reproduce a network in ns3 is by doing manual calibration, is there any other way to reproduce the same ? One way I could think of is by path loss models but I assume that it would concern other modules as well. Kindly suggest what can I do

For a context, I am trying to simulate the env to do resource allocation on application layer so is there any other tool as well that could help me better ?

Can anyone help me with this ?
