WiFi multicast

I need to do Wifi multicast.I have found Wimax Multicast & csma examples.Can anypone provide me some links/tutorial about WiFi multicast?.I have created a WiFi network and made access point as multicast router.But it is not working.Can anyone help me with this?

Hi,

WiFi multicast is not different than csma. It must not be different. As is, if it's working for csma, it will work for WiFi.

Perhaps the issue is in the "multicast router". Are you sure you did install properly the multicast routes ?

Moreover, the access point is receiving unicast packets ? (i.e., is the network correctly configured?).

Sorry for the late reply I have configured the network correctly.But Multicast packets are not delivering.Both access point is receiving unicast packets correctly.Don’t know what is wrong with it.I have created two LANs with IP address range 10.1.1.0 & 11.1.1.0.And created 1 access point for each.I think problem is with the connection between two access points.I have created a static multicast route between two access points.Is it the reason for not delivering the multicast packets?Do I need to do something else?
