problem with Evalvid and Qoe-Monitor

Hello

Please i want to add Evalvid or Qoe-monitor in NS-3.

but when running i got the follewing error ( attached).

Could you help me to found the problem !!
Could anyone show me steps to succeful add the Evalvid !!

As replied to your previous (double) post, your problem is related to WAF structure. Build the wscript file of the module you add according to the structure of the NS-3 release you use. I would suggest to use the create-module.py located in the /src folder to automatically build the structure of your module, then add the files and update the file names in the wscript.

I resolve this problem by:

make distclean

then ./waf configure

finally ./waf build

Please, now i have an other error, when running ns-3 ( ./waf) after adding the "qoe-module" under src

Again, the same problem. You are using the code from an earlier release in a new. There have been changes in the random variable architecture couple of releases back (can't remember when) and everything was restructured.

If you check the API, you can find the method you call is the following and requires a RandomVariableStream not a RandomVariable as argument (also noted in the compiler output)

void	SetRandomVariable (Ptr< RandomVariableStream >)

i go to src/qoe-monitor/qoe-monitor-example-1.cc and i didnt undrestand which  method i must modify.

i didn(t undrestand what is the earlier release, you talked about qoe-monitor ? if yes, is there a new one which resolve this problem.
