How to find node ID in MAC layer

Problem Statement: I am working on a class project to change MAC layer. In DcaTxop::Queue() function, I want to know which node send or forward the packet. I want to use GetObject() to find the ID of nodes, but it seems that  this DcaTxop class doesn't aggregate with any classes. So I want to find a way to know node ID in this DcaTxop::Queue() function.

Please help and inspire me.
