Hi guys

Had a few more meetings with the Monster guys regarding the X Trial event in Feb which they are still flat out keen for. Our next step is to try
and get some pertinent large obstacles organized ASAP like: pipes/ skips/ large logs etc.

Monster are paying for the whole setup and organizing massive media coverage from bike mags to TV, not to mention an expect 40 000 passing
spectators from the All Things Bike Show…all we have to do is bump heads together with the guys from the club and arrange some gnarly obstacles
to be dropped off there.

Could we please send a circular to all the Trials guys informing them of the big event and if they know of any companies or people who could
organize obstacles to be dropped off at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand in February. The nice part is that whatever obstacles they bring they
can brand how they want…which is a really good deal considering the coverage involved.

I thought of sending a circular around before the Trial on Sunday so we can discuss with them any progress on Sunday and at least they know what’s
going on. Monster are really throwing quite a lot at this and they are also keen to get involved in sponsoring the nationals…so I think it would be good
for the club and the sport to not let them do all the organizing work for the obstacles as I’m sure you would agree.

Kewil, thanks!

Hi Chris

Hope you well!

I’ve been discussing some ideas with the guys from Monster Energy about doing a Trials event at the big bike show (All Things Bike) at
Gallagher Convention Centre next year 16th/ 17th Feb. They would possibly like to include it into our race calendar which hopefully is
not much of a problem as now we are with WOMZA and they know the guys from there very well, and make it part of a Monster Energy
Series.

The just of it is, that they want to bring in some cool obstacles and have a type of indoor event (although it will be outside the halls),
and have a “Pro” race on the Saturday and “Intermediate” race on the Sunday with possible prize money for both days.

It’s something that will bring great exposure to Trials, and I think it is fantastic that Monster Energy are behind us 100%! This unfortunately
needs to be finalized in a hurry and if possible we could have a site meeting with everyone involved early next week.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,
