Would like to thank you for the hard work on the drama practice and performance yesterday.  It is a tribute to the great dedication that we were able to successfully finish this.

 

Here are the "Gokul" awards:

• Always ontime for practice:  Aditi
• Most practices attended: Aditi
• Maintaining humor while practicing: Hari
• Sincereity in following script: Vineet prabhu
• Attempt at rengineering the drama :) : Sundara prabhu
• Most enthusiasm and vigor: Siribabu and Arun prabhus
• Most impromptu: Puja mataji and Harivilas prabhu
• Most obedient artist: Srinivas Mallipeddi
• Awesome makeup - Ananta Hari Prabhu

 

A few observations:

The four kumaras covered each other so audience could not full see them - best idea is to spread out in a V or semi circle form

Some artists thought that their voice was loud and did not use the 5 mics provided at their lotus feet - result is that very few people in the back heard anything

On ocassion entering or exiting the stage too late or too early not following cues

 

Great performance and look forward to our next drama in Winter 2011!  Haribol!!

I want to Thank you all for being so amazing last night. Also Thanks for carrying Aditi throughout the play and looking out for her.

 

There should be another award for the MOST DEDICATED: Radhika Gopinath Prabhu and Padma Mataji. This play would not have been successful w/o his dedication to this service.

 

A small preaching: I heard some complaints that people were not on time and did not practice. H.H. Romapada Swami once said to us that when we are not on time committed by us we disrespect the other person’s time and efforts. As vaishnavas we all strive to give complete respect to others but when we do not follow this simple rule we were not respectful to everyone involved with the play. As vaishnavas we should treat this as a service to Sri Sri Radha Nila Madhava and not as an hardship. It is a responsibility to perform to the best of our capacity when we are a part of any endeavor for the temple. We are not performing on stage before any ordinary audience but in front of the deities, Srila Prabhupada and his pure associates. This should not be regarded as a material activity but a spiritual activity to please Guru and Gauranga.

 

Once again: Amazing play and great performance by everyone. All glories to your services.

PAMHO. AGTSP. You and your wife did a marvelous service. All the devotees devotees

Appreciate what you have done.

 

My only suggestion is that the devotees have to be trained to use the microphones so that they can be heard.

Keep up the good service. It is enlivening the whole temple.

It was such a wonderful preaching effort! so many would have been inspired.

 

I felt very grateful for being part in the drama. It was very inspiring and purifying to me personally.

Thank you Harivilas Prabhu, Radhika Gopinath Prabhu, Padma Mataji and all the other devotees for your kind association, encouragement and commitment to bring this play to everyone. I had my own doubts at one time on how it was going to play out on the final day. We hadn't been through even one end to end practice with everyone present, including sound and lighting. With Krishna's mercy, Harivilas Prabhu's blessings and Radhika Gopinath Prabhu and Padma Mataji's inspirational hard work we were able to stage a play that everyone enjoyed. There are a lot of things to learn from the practices and the final play yesterday. I hope we can take these learning for the next time and make it even more better for the audience and the artists alike.

Pamho and AGTSP!

Some of the dialogs were very inspiring including HG HariVilas Prabhus discourse in the middle - the last scene has some very powerful instructions as well. coordination is a tough job and Padma mataji and RG prabhu put all the time and effort well! Actors did a super job for not being professionals - next time mic usage can improve and floor spacing as well so as not to show backside to audience - all in all my wife said she and her friends had a blast

Radhika Gopinath Pr and Padma Mataji, no words can describe how nicely you have maintained coordination among all devotees to showcase such a wonderful drama. 

Hari Vilas Prabhu's Narada preaching is very inspiring.

One should have lot of fortune to come in association with you through drama like this. It is such a purifying experience.
