Free Library.
Watch Your Wallet - Trends, Tricks and Scams in Today's Markets or How
Not to Get Madoffed
Recent law school graduates Otylia Babiak and Eldad Gerb of the
Investor Advocacy Clinic of the Suffolk University Law School will
discuss and be available to answer questions about how investors can
invest responsibly and protect themselves from unscrupulous brokers
and advisors on the following topics:
• Learn how to select a broker, advisor or firm
• Identify the latest trends and forms of securities fraud and how to
protect yourself
• Finally, learn how to ask the right questions…and get the right
answers
The Suffolk University Investor Advocacy Clinic was established
to serve, educate and protect small investors in connection with their
investments and relationships with brokers and broker-dealers. The
Clinic does not charge for its services which are provided by law
students under the supervision of two members of the faculty who are
practicing attorneys. The clinic does not offer financial or
investment advice.
Questions and discussion after the presentation are encouraged.
