Dear Members of the Steering Committee, Fellow ICC Members, NCC Presidents, NRN Friends Worldwide and Fellow Texans:

Greetings from Houston - the Home of the 4th Regional NRN Conference!!

I'm pleased to report that the preparations for the conference are moving forward at full swing. Here are some of the highlights that I want to report:

1. Deadline for Hotel Booking is coming FRIDAY, May 14

Please hurry up if you have not already booked your hotel online. Please visit: http://nrnusa.org/home/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=90&Itemid=90
to avail the special rate of $89/night. The hotel has almost ran out of 2-bed rooms. Please hurry up!!

2. Advance Online Registration is a MUST

Many of you have already registered. Thank you. For those who have NOT yet registered, please do so as soon as possible. We must provide accurate head-counts to the Hotel to ensure adequate foods for all. You do NOT need to pay online for Registration. But an advance registration will be very helpful in planning for logistics. Online Registration is open at:

3. Ride from Airport

We have already provided you with the information about Airport Shuttle Service.  However, Mr. Jyoti Ghimire will be coordinating with local NAH Volunteers to pick you at the airport.  Please forward your itinerary to Jyoti ji at jghi...@gmail.com.  You must send your itinerary in advance if you want to get advantage of this FREE service.

4. Sessions, Chairs & Panelists Finalized

All major sessions along with their Chair, Panelists and Moderator have been finalized. Please visit www.nrnusa.org for the updated status.

5. The Souvenir is being Printed in Kathmandu

Thanks to Dr. Naveen Vaidya and his Team, the Souvenir Magazine of the 4th Regional NRN Conference is ready, and is being printed in Nepal.

6. Cultural Extravaganza

We have received conformation from legendary lok-geet singers (dohari) Hon. Prem Raja Mahat and Ms. Sapana Shree along with famous artist Ms. Tara Gurung. The cultural Program will be on the evening of May 28th (Friday) which will also include some of the very best of the Texan Nepali artists and singers.

Just got a confirmed list of 12 Attendees from AUSTRALIA.....Much more to follow soon....
