problem with nrf24l01 arduino mega

my self dibu.
i am facing trouble, while communicating between nrf24l01. can any one please help me how to achieve the coomunication.
i have only one arduino mega 2560 and dond have a second one. i dond have much money to buy a new so i learned to do same program in atmega16 by using the arduino megas isp.
now i have a transmiter and recever. all goes good the program include the required library files and else and even it uploads to the both , but it does not transmit or receive the data. can you please tell me a solution to the problem that i am facing.
