Does anyone know if it is possible to bradcast a message to multiple nRF24L01+ modules, or does a receiver only resond to it's specific address?

Thanks,

I think that if you set the same address to two modules they will both receive messages, but better remove ACKs I guess to not confuse things.

Hello,

Yes, you can use 0xff as the broadcast address.

Cheers.

mikem,

How do you send a 1 byte address? If I am using 5 byte addressing would I send 0xffffffffff? On page 25 of the data sheet section 7.3.2 cautions about using addresses where only one bit transition occurs.

Thanks,

Wendell

Sending 5 bytes of 0xFF works for me as broadcast. I do occasionally get a spurious packet from my neighbours who must have something which uses a nrf24l01, but I have a key in my message so it doesn't cause me any problems.

you can set one of the 6 Rx pipes , with a default address on every modules
and Tx to that address , so that every  module will receive it

As mentioned my Dario Salvi , send Packets without ACK .
