But currently, Dolby Atmos is at the forefront of consumer-grade technology, especially since Apple have included such capabilities in their latest Logic Upgrade and have backed the format across all listening platforms.
for some reason this will not show up as a plug in no matter what i do this has been the most frustrating piece of software to install dont even bother trying to install the ezx cocktail file it says some rubbish about not being able to see the dummy file i can find that file the program cant, anyway its a great piece of software and makes my drum machine look rubbish as these drums sound so real anyway i have found a way to make it work in live its not ideal but it works kind of, run the toontrack solo you can play it with your keyboard or whatever midi device you have then set the track up as you would for an instrument then hey presto it works,(when i say works its running standalone and not as a plug in) the past few hours of trying to get the thing to work has put me off geting ezdrummer 2 or any packs
the solution i used was with installing toontrack solo as ezdrummer wasnt working, so now i have tried installing it for the 3rd time and works fine u need to rescan folder in abelton after the installation even if you have put the dll in the correct place, im happy now it works properly but im not sure why it didnt work first time or the 2nd time !!!! ,so basiclly if its not working for you just keep uninstalling and reinstalling it will eventually work
I installed Toontrack's Superior drummer to use with Mainstage. I am trying to assign some parameters to some knobs and fader but i can't figure out which parameter is responsible for what. I get a list of Parameter 1, 2, 3 etc. Can anyone help with this?
Basically, Superior Drummer 3 is EZdrummer 2 on steroids. Everything you do in EZd2 can be made in SD3, and the similar functions look pretty much the same. The idea behind the design of SD3 is that EZd2 users should be able to start using SD3 without having to learn a lot of new stuff, when using the same functions as EZd2 has (Tap2Find, Edit Play Style, searching for Grooves, changing libraries/presets, changing instruments, etc).
An EZX preset will use the same effects in EZdrummer 2 as in Superior Drummer 3, so when you load a preset they will sound the same in both products. The difference is that you can change the mixer in SD3, and add more effects.
Hello i seem to have the same problem.
using studio one 3 pro 64bit ,installed 64bit version. i does not make a superior drummer.dll. i have used more the 2 hours trying to find out where is it.
what can be the problem.?
the SD Solo works fine.

Suprior Drummer is a leviathan. The kit configuration possibilities are almost endless and then to step that further, each kit piece can be changed within the VST. With compatability for older EZX expansions for EZ drummer, this Virtual Instrument is something every producer should have. If you have Ez Drummer, Or EZ Drummer 2, I recommend that you upgrade to this ASAP.

We were able to ask him to play softly, loudly, busily, minimally, single shots, rim shots, rolls, runs, and everything inbetween.
