IEEE Fifth International Workshop on
Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems:
Technology and Applications
(IDAACS'2009)
Rende, Cosenza, Italy
SEPTEMBER 21 - 23, 2009
ORGANIZED BY
FACULTY OF COMPUTER INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES,
TERNOPIL NATIONAL ECONOMIC UNIVERSITY, UKRAINE
IN COOPERATION WITH
DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS, COMPUTER AND SYSTEM SCIENCE
UNIVERSITY OF CALABRIA
SPONSORED BY:
- IEEE Ukraine Section IM/CIS Joint Chapter
- Ternopil National Economic University, Ukraine
- IEEE Ukraine Section
- University of Calabria, Italy

- IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Society
INVITATION
The main goal of the IDAACS'2009 is to provide a forum for high
quality reports on the state-of-the-art Theory, Technology and
Applications of Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computer
Systems as used in measurement, automation, and scientific research,
in industry and business. Rapid developments in these areas have
resulted in more intelligent, sensitive, and accurate methods of data
acquisition and data processing in manufacturing, in the
environmental monitoring, in medical systems and in the laboratory
practice. Advanced methods have been developed to enhance the
measurement of information for automation, in process inspection,
quality control, diagnostics, and other processes. The importance of
IDAACS'2009 is its vision to establish scientific contacts between
research teams and scientists from different countries for future
joint research collaborations. This interaction is proved by the
successful activity of the scientists after previous IDAACS
Workshops, which were hold in (i) Foros, Crimea, Ukraine, (ii) Lviv,
Ukraine, (iii) Sofia, Bulgaria and (iv) Dortmund, Germany respectively.
THE EXPECTED BENEFIT
IDAACS'2009 provides the opportunity to discuss topics with
colleagues from different spheres such as academia, industry,
instrumentation and computer manufacturing companies, public and
private research institutions and organizations. IDAACS'2009 with its
truly international character promotes the development of
relationships between former Eastern and Western Europe, and with
countries from all parts of the globe.
