VTV Gran Fondo Century (in Fairfax)

Hey dudes- just found out about this century ride (100 miles) that starts in Fairfax on Saturday October 5th: http://www.vtvgranfondo.com/

It's for a good cause as well (to raise awareness and promote school and campus safety in the community and nationally). Registration is a bit expensive though ($85), but if you're a student you get 50% discount.

Anybody interested in doing the century? It'd be my first century ride, but I'm anxious to get one under the belt before winter comes and I'll be stuck indoors. Here is the GPS route with elevation gains: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/3210344
