Dear students,

I am pretty sure that the department must have already communicated to you at the forwarded conference we are planning for the first time in our faculty.

While I personally like to see our students go out and present their findings in international conferences elsewhere, we are organising this to give you one chance to attempt publishing some of your findings in a tru conference environment. Although I have seen some students listing their final year research presentation sessions as a conference publication, that actually is wrong. It is an examination, indeed the last exam of your BSc. But to call it an abstract publication it has to be accepted by a formal conference after the process of peer-review. So here is a first chance of that kind. As I informed Hasanka on the phone, you can also plan an abstract based on your mini project work, having all in your group as well as the supervisors as co-authors.

You have time till 10th march, that is 3 days after your final presentations - you can submit the same abstract to thic conference if you are not planning to go for a higher international conference. Otherwise you can publish a part of your work in this.

Give it a go, and please share this with all your batchmates.
