Sat., Feb. 29 at Barre Library -- Winsert Workshop - open to public (see attached flyer).  Contact Neil Anders at theos...@charter.net for more information.

Hello:

People in Massachusetts are still working to stop the building of gas pipelines and compressor stations.  This is happening with people working to stop the compressor station in Weymouth  -- see Fore River Residents Against Compressor Station Facebook posts and other work highlighted by Climate Action Now Facebook posts regarding Columbia Gas Resistance in Springfield.  We all need to keep educating ourselves, using less, saving on energy use and working together during this climate emergency. -- Pat Larson for North Quabbin Energy Core Group

Some Events in the North Quabbin include a Winsert Workshop in Barre and a Presentation on "Forestry and Carbon"

Wed., March 4 - 6:30-8:30 at Millers River Environmental Center -- Presentation on "Forestry and Carbon: Science and Practice"

Sponsored by No. Quabbin Energy, Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust, and Athol Bird and Nature Club.
