Dear All,

Master Ashwin is a very bright student who is studying Class 4 at Sowdeswari Vidyalaya in Coimbatore. He is suffering from Nephrotic Syndrome for which he has been undergoing treatment for the past 4 Years. He was admitted at KMCH Hospital in Coimbatore on 6th May in critical condition and he was in ICU for almost 3 days. He is still undergoing the treatment there and now under Haemodialysis and needs to undergo Kidney Transplantation at the earliest. The doctor has advised to do the transplantation within two months & in the meantime the legal procedures for finding the suitable donor will be completed.

Please find attached the Doctor's Certificate from KMCH, Biopsy report confirming the Kidney Disease, Bioline test report showing the high creatinine level caused due to kidney failure and photos during the treatment period. 

The total hospital bill so far is around 2 Lakhs and it is expected to be around 3-1/2 to 4 lakhs before transplantation. The transplantation cost will be around 4-1/2 lakhs and the surgery for removal of kidney from the donor will cost around 1-1/2 lakhs. This is just an estimate and could go up further depending on the medical condition of Master Ashwin. 

Master Ashwin's father Mr.Senthil who is a very close friend of mine is a TV servicing technician and is the only earning member of the family and they live in a rented house in Selvapuram, Coimbatore. His salary is only sufficient to run the family and he cannot meet the medical expenses towards the Kidney Transplantation. The past 4 years they have gone through lot of trouble and still fought hard to keep their son going. The parents of Ashwin never lost their hope and are still doing whatever possible to keep him alive.
