Issues related to the understanding and (pre-)processing of the data from the NPOESS Preparatory Project (NPP) satellite. NPP is scheduled for launch October 25, 2011, and is regarded the first in a series of NOAA/NASA satellites to be continued with JPSS-1&2 from 2016 onwards.
