Hi,

I'm just looking into using npackd for supplying a number of users with some optional software for them to install locally. However, many of those apps require admin rights to install (and also many of them are really large, so installing into the user directory is no option since there are often multiple people using the same machines). Is there a way to run the install through some background service that installs specific apps as e.g. the local admin user?

Cheers
Michael

Hello Michael,

These are the options that I am aware of:
- use psexec
- create a task in the Windows scheduler
- a logon script

In any case just call "ncl.exe" with admin privileges to install or update the software.
