Light duality does not exist?
When electrons are captured in an atom X-ray radiation is generated.
  1. Capturing an electron causes radiant energy.
  2. Reversible process?
  3. Radiant energy causes an electron escape?
  4. The photoelectric effect is explained?
  5. A two step process?
  6. Escaping and later capturing.
  7. The Compton effect is explained?
  8. (4) plus (7) are explained by the wave model.
  9. The particle model for light is not needed.
  10. No light duality.
Conclusion
If the process when electrons are captured in an atom and generate X-rays is reversible we can explain the photoelectric effect and the Compton effect with the wave model. This means that the concept of light particles (or photons) is not needed. No light duality.
