X-rays are generated when electrons are captured in an atom. Electron’s kinetic energy is converted to radiant energy. If this process is reversible, the photoelectric effect is explained when radiant energy is converted to kinetic energy.
The Compton effect is also explained in two steps.
Radiant energy into kinetic energy and
kinetic energy into radiant energy.
So, we do not need light particles.

The Lorentz transform would be correct if light were particles.
Light is wave motion.
The Lorentz transform conflicts with the wave model.
The ether wind inside the wave front cannot tilt the wave front.
The Lorentz transform is wrong.
Special relativity emanates from the Lorentz transformation.
