In 1887 Lorenz derived the Lorenz transform by assuming that light takes a longer way in the reference arm in Michelson's tests, (transverse to light motion). This was a great mistake, since
there is no reason for light to change behaviour just because the detector is moved. Light takes the same way. So, the Lorenz transform is caused by
a great mistake. Michelson protested against Lorenz, but scientists supported Lorenz's error and Michelson had a nervous breakdown. This was a tragedy in physics, and we got the
absurd Lorenz transform, and that was followed by the absurd theory of special relativity.
