Hi All!

Just to let everyone know, if you haven't already seen it on facebook,
a website exists! You can now register and submit workshop proposals.
Accommodation information is becoming available and soon the account
details will be up for the $50.00 registration fee (literally working
on that one as I type!) If, like Esther, your university /
organisation needs an invoice issued prior to payment please let us
know and our student organisation can issue one.

That's just the beginning!

All collectives are invited to collaborate and make their own little
space on the web within the NOWSA group!

So what do we need?
1 x Photograph of an event or your collective. (that is at least 700
pixels in width, height is not important :) )

A paragraph or two about your collective and your collective's
expectations from the NOWSA group and/or conference.

Aims / Objectives / Campaigns for 2011.

And finally, key dates / events! We all want to know what's happening
in the world or wom*n at your campus. Here's the chance for states to
get involved with each others events, and if some of us happen to be
visiting at a time when you have an event we can drop by and offer our
services too!

You can email these to k.l...@arc.unsw.edu.au entitled "[insert
university] collective page" and they will be forwarded to the web
contact.

You can send this as quickly or as slowly as you like but it would be
great to have some online soon.

I believe Courtney will send out an email to all wom*n's officers /
convenors so apologies for any cross postings!

Cheers,
Kim.

Hey Kim,

I know it has been mentioned in a couple of other emails. But I just wanted to double check which was your recommended accomodation for the four night stay. I only ask because I was researching accomodation and Blue Parrot Backpapers in Kings Cross works out to be a bit cheaper than sydney YHA. Do you know anything about this place? Or do you know where the majority of women are staying? As it would be nice to stay close by.

Thanks so much,

Arika Crotty

Hey Arika and everyone!

At this stage, it's looking pretty likely a crew from Melbourne will be at the YHA, and a few have also organised a flashier holiday home that they're going to rent all together.

Hi Arika,

I don't know much about blue parrot but I'll try and give them a call and check it out for more details. If it's not incredibly cheaper I'd probably suggest going with the yha just because it's a 10 - 15 minute bus ride with 5 different routes that go to unsw. If you stay at blue parrot you will have to get a train to either bondi or central. The bus from bondi is about half an hour to unsw I think.
