Help! Can't print from Now Contact

I can't believe the first problem I've had happens on the day the
company closes.

When I try to print anything from Now Contact, I get an error message
saying "The following error has occurred: -1. Please try the operation
again." I can't try the operation again because I just get the same
error message.

I'm on Now Contact 5.3.2 and I can print fine from other applications,
including Now Up to Date. When closing and restarting Now Contact
didn't work, I tried reinstalling the software. Still getting the same
message.

Anybody have any idea what's wrong?

Sometimes the Now Contact preferences become corrupted and they need
to be rebuilt. Try the following:

1. Make a note of where your primary contact file is located. What
comes next will cause Now Contact to forget where its primary file is
on the disk. The easiest way to find that out is to launch Now Contact
and then command-click on the window's title. You will see a popup
appear with the full path to the file.

2. Quit Now Contact.

3. In the Finder, go to /Users/whateveryourusernameis/Library/
Preferences

4. Trash com.nowsoftware.nowcontact.plist

5. Trash "Now Contact™ Prefs"

6. Restart Now Contact. It will ask for your primary file. Select the
one you had noted in step 1.

7. Try to print. If it was a preference problem then it should print.
