Linking contacts to events--does anything do that?

So, one of my consulting clients is a talent agency that used NOW
because it was the only solution out there that synced events to
specific people. (actors to auditions, bookings, etc) Is there
anything else on the Mac market that does this?

It's sad that NOW is gone, but at least the wait is over.
