My sympathies to the Now team. Truly a huge undertaking trying to
develop a unified cross-platform calendar/contact solution. Best
wishes to you all.

I wonder what will become of the code base. Open source? It would be
a shame to see it disappear.

I emailed John and mentioned making at least the older software

Now Contact and Now Up to Date as Open Source. I can only guess the
environment that they were made.

They started out in Classic so I wonder if that would be the old MPW
(Macintosh Programmers Workshop)

Not sure...

I would love it if a development group would be able to pick up the
pieces. It showed promise but the lack of server
was the lynch pin for me. I had 45 licenses of Nighthawk that I
couldn't use.
