Hello, I get the following error in my browser when accessing novnc:

noVNC encountered an error:

Uncaught SyntaxError: The requested module './util/strings.js' does not provide an export named 'encodeUTF8'
SyntaxError: The requested module './util/strings.js' does not provide an export named 'encodeUTF8'

I am running novnc in termux on an android device (arm). I run novnc in either termux directly by downloading the tarball and running novnc_proxy, or in a proot ubuntu process via websockify -D. Then I access the port (6080 in this case) via the samsung internet browser. I get the same error.

I suspect I'm missing something but I'm not sure what. Thanks in advance for any help!

I would suspect a caching issue. Have you tried clearing the browser
cache and see if it loads correctly after that?

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?

That was the problem. The script then works natively in termux without proot, and serves the vnc session I have also running in termux. Thank you!
