I can't seem to perform a press and hold on a button, when I'm connected to a Siemens HMI via noVNC.
I can do this via a desktop browser with a mouse.
When I press an hold with my iOS device nothing seems to happen.

**Expected behavior**
a press and hold from a touch devices would be equivalent to a click and hold from a Desktop Browser

**Client (please complete the following information):**
 - OS: iOS 16.1.1
 - Browser: chrome, safari
 - Browser version: [e.g. 22]

**Server (please complete the following information):**
 - noVNC version: 1.2.0
 - VNC server: Windows CE
 - WebSocket proxy: websockify

is there any way to get this to work?

Also I see in the readme on git  there is support for touch gestures, but I can not find any more information anywhere about what gestures are supported and how to use them...

thanks

Unfortunately, we do indeed lack documentation for them, as we didn't
have an obvious place for it. For now, you can look at ThinLinc's
documentation, which uses noVNC as a component:

https://www.cendio.com/resources/docs/tag/client_gestures.html#client-gestures

As for your specific problem, I think that is somewhat expected. Press
and hold on a touch devices will give you a right click. I'm afraid we
don't have any settings to override that at the moment. :/

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
