WebSockets is a HTTP and Javascript extension, so it requires support on
both sides. So you will need a proxy that handles this (e.g. websockify).
websockify could be run on macOS, provided you can get Python running
there. It can also be run on a separate machine.
However the big issue is that macOS screen sharing doesn't properly
follow the VNC protocol. So we can't really guarantee that things will
work properly. You'll have to try and see.
