Novnc desktop application

Hi,

I have a requirement : "We want to connect to vnc server from vnc desktop application", so the that all shortcuts can work smoothly (ones which are blocked by browser).

We have tigervnc and websockify configured on server, and no-vnc browser client works smoothly to connect to server.

Two questions : 

1. Is it possible to use no-vnc as desktop client as mentioned here: https://github.com/novnc/noVNC/blob/master/docs/EMBEDDING.md
2. If not, can someone suggest any other alternative approach to connect my server from any vnc desktop client.

using noVNC embedded in a desktop app seems wasteful. Why not just use a desktop-based VNC client for the language your desktop GUI is written in? You can avoid the whole websocket proxy altogether.
